Rod & Jacqueline

Are a married couple with two  children in Primary School & High School, originating from Sydney Australia.
Together they have a driving passion for the difference an effective education can make in young people’s lives. As co-founders of an education organisation in Australia [BlueKite - Positive Wellbeing Projects] they are now dedicating their experience and love for education to the ongoing and exciting growth of this School project in Lombok Indonesia. Through this school and a supportive team of professional educators and like-minded individuals, they believe in Lombok’s education future.

 Jacqueline is a Primary School Teacher (B.Teach Primary and Grad.Cert TESOL) and co-founder of BlueKite positive wellbeing projects from Sydney, Australia. She has a background in outdoor education and holiday camps as well as her 12 years of teaching that included student wellbeing coordinating and TESOL. She has also presented positive wellbeing concepts in various principals' and teachers' forums. Specialising in TESOL and social and emotional learning, Jacqueline's training has included 21st Century learning, Growth mindset in education, positive psychology and leadership development.
Her passion for creating an inspirational, values driven leadership model has grown in order to achieve a positive, supportive & innovative learning community; that compliments an exceptional academic pathway for the future.

Rod  has expertise in a number of fields. As well as co-founding the BlueKite organisation for education in Australia, during the past 25 year’s Rod’s experience in education has included working with numerous school Principals and teachers in primary schools and high schools, facilitating whole school seminars, classroom workshops and high school leavers support programs throughout Australia. He is passionate about inspiring young people to think outside the box to improve self-esteem and create positive change in their worlds. In addition, he is a Marketing and Branding Consultant, having helped to establish a brand implementation company in Sydney, and he has a professional background in aircraft engineering (Cert. aircraft maintenance engineering) previously employed with QANTAS Airlines in Sydney, Australia.
